Posada del Mar is one of the six Decameron affiliated hotels in Providencia, and is located near Freshwater Bay (Bahia Agua Dulce). Almost all of Posada del Mar's 30 rooms have balconies with hammocks and fine sea views. The rooms are some of the smartest on the island, though perhaps a little on the small side. There is no restaurant at this hotel, although breakfast is served to guests, and there are plenty of other restaurants nearby to choose from. There is also a childrens playground.

Posada del Mar is usually booked via the Colombian hotel chain Decameron. However, it can also be booked directly with the hotel (at a greatly reduced price), but only upon your arrival in Providencia and presentation at the hotel.

Cost: Highly variable, but from approx US $170 in the low season (360,000 pesos) for a double room including breakfast when booked with Decameron. About half that price when booked directly with the hotel upon arrival.
