One of the six Decameron affiliated hotels on the island, Miss Elma Hotel is located very close to the beach in Freshwater Bay (Bahia Agua Dulce). Miss Elma has just four spacious rooms - nothing fancy but perfectly adequate, and all are right on the coast overlooking the sea. The restaurant has a lovely setting overlooking the beach and sea, and serves some good food too.

Miss Elma is usually booked via the Colombian hotel chain Decameron. However, it can also be booked directly with the hotel (at a greatly reduced price), but only upon your arrival in Providencia and presentation at the hotel.

Cost: Highly variable, but from about US $170 in the low season (or 360,000 Colombian pesos) for a double including breakfast with Decameron. About half that when booked directly with the hotel upon arrival.
